This was my first alabaster carving, many years ago.

Yoyo was carved from a small piece of translucent orange
Utah alabaster. I was astounded that it held together with all the
cracks in the stone but it did, and it's quite pretty. With a bit of
fishing line around it, it makes a lovely sun catcher, as it is
nearly entirely translucent.
This was my first alabaster carving, many years ago. Dimensions: Approximately 4 inches in the longest dimension. Sold. | |||||||
