This bowl was carved entirely by hand - using hammer, chisel, and files.
No power tools were used to excavate the stone. That took quite a while
to accomplish while still keeping the bowl solid. The walls are only about
three-eighths of an inch thick in places - quite a challenge in a stone
with veins like this.
