The bout with Mark has just ended, we've shaken hands, and -- astonishingly -- I won. Just like the bout with Jere, it went to 9/9 before I won 10/9.

At this point, I am totally overwhelmed. By winning here I am into the final bout, to take first or second place. My B rating is solidly locked in now, and I have no idea how to deal with it.

It's hard to tell, but the director standing in the background filling in the match result sheet is smiling. I came into this competition with an E rating -- just a slightly better fencer then dirt. Everyone was amazed at what was happening here.
